2015-2016 Nothing But Net

This year’s VEX robotics completion nothing but net is played on the standard vex 12 foot by 12 foot square field. Similar to previous VRC games two robots work together to form an alliance to compete against another alliance. Matches start with a 15 second autonomous bonus where there is no human interaction and each robot may preload up to four ordinary balls. There are up to 94 yellow foam balls on the field and 10 bonus balls with a diameter of 4”, each robot is constrained to possessing a maximum of 4 balls at any stage during the match. Following the autonomous section alliances work together for 1 minute 45 seconds in driver control to score balls into their dedicated nets. Robots must stay within an 18"X18"18” box for the duration of the match unless there is a "lift" occurring within the last thirty seconds of a match.
