NZ EDR Nationals 2017

Our most successful Nationals yet. Coming home with Excellence, Build and Create Awards, as well as all four teams making it to the elimination rounds. A great achievement coming with a lot of late nights ahead as we prepare for Worlds.

As always, nationals was a chaotic weekend. Straight off camp and into, what is always, tough competition. For the more experienced members of 2919A and 2919C this was business as usual, however for the younger members on 2919B and 2919X it was a tough ask, one they more than delivered on.

2919B was the highest ranked team at the end of qualifying in 9th place, followed by 2919C in 10th.

For elimination rounds 2919C was chosen by 8757A (House of Science). 2919B became 8th seed and chose the remaining 2 Kristin teams. All were eliminated in their quarter final rounds.

2919A was awarded Create Award for their unique approach to the game

2919C was awarded Build Award for their high build quality.

The team was awarded Excellence which came with a qualification spot for Worlds in April.

We are all immensely proud and looking forward the challenge ahead.
